We are very fortunate in Monto to have a vibrant celebration of our regions industries and interests in our local Agricultural Show. The Monto Show does not just happen, it takes the work and commitment of hundreds of people in our community. We give a huge thank you to all our Members, Stewards, Sponsors, Donors, Volunteers, Competitors, Exhibitors, Trade Sites, Contractors and our patrons for showing up and bringing your best year after year.
The Monto Show will be held over the weekend of the 27th & 28th of April 2024.The Monto Show will be held over the weekend of the 27th & 28th of April 2024. Saturday and Sunday sees two days filled with horse, cattle, chainsaw races, vintage machinery displays, speakers tent, baby animal farm and the comedy duck races . Saturday features the Working Dog Challenge, Qld Dog Show and Show Ring horse events. Sunday is family day with free entry for the kids and $5 for adults. Rodeo and fireworks on Saturday night. Join us to help the Monto Show celebrate Mont's centenary and the industries that made us.
Pavilion Preview Friday Night
This year we are hosting a preview of the Pavilion event. $5 entry includes light nibbles and there will be a small cash bar. This event will allow those of us who don't get time on the weekend to really go through the Pavillion and admire the many splendid entries. It is also perfect for those with mobility issues as Friday evening you can park right next to the Pavilion. We will be showcasing our Pavilion champions, presenting our Monto Showgirl and announcing the Then & Now class winners and presenting trophies. STEWARDS
We have 23 different Sections in the Monto Show covering a very broad range of industry and hobbies, we are very lucky to have so many passionate and commited Stewards as part of the Monto Show. If you would like to volunteer as Steward at this years Show please contact our Secretary Audrey.
MEMBERSHIPS
New memberships are now closed and will not be accepted before this years Show.
Existing Memberships are due for renewal in February. Please note that renewals only will be accepted after the 31st March but appreciated before the 24th April.
What Next?
We will be celebrating the Centenary of Monto and the Industries that made us as part of the Then & Now theme of the 93rd Annual Monto Show, follow us on Facebook and attend our General meetings to stay up to date and to gert involved.
