2025 Monto Cattle Drive and Trail Ride    

The 2025 Monto Cattle Drive and Trail Ride will be held from Friday, 6 June to Sunday, 8 June 2025. Arriving from 12pm on Friday, 6 June and concluding at approximately 1pm on Sunday, 8 June after lunch.

In 2025 the Monto Cattle Drive and Trail Ride will return to “Walkers Creek” and will feature two new routes. Saturday will feature the Cattle Drive from “Kolonga” to “Walkers Creek” and Sunday will be a trail ride through paddock 67.

On Saturday afternoon, time permitting, we will ride up to the lookout on top of the hill in Prentices paddock.

2025 marks the 20th Anniversary since the inception of the Monto Cattle Drive and Trail Ride, with the first event being held in 2005. Our committee extends a warm invitation to anyone who has been involved with the Cattle Drive and Trail ride over the past 20 years to join us in marking this milestone. We will be incorporating this celebration throughout the weekend.

The Monto Cattle Drive and Trail Ride is hosted by a dedicated sub-committee of the Monto & District Show Society Inc, a not-for-profit incorporated association established in 1929 to encourage and promote agriculture and primary industries within the District.

In 2025 the Monto & District Show Society Inc will host the 94th Annual Monto Show on Saturday, 26 and Sunday 27 April.

The Cattle Drive and Trail Ride is a major fundraising event for the Monto & District Show Society Inc.
